Built from a solid timber frame and finished with hardwood claddings and brushwood overclad thatch lookalike roof. The handmade playhouse is fully insulated for warmth in winter and coolness in summer and contains electric lighting and heating so it can be used all year round. Inside you’ll find two floors with plenty with plenty of space and enough headroom for your children to use into their mid to late teens (5'9" headroom on the upper level).
The house also includes a hardwood paddle or monk’s staircase to the top floor, a balcony area, climbing net and a large storage area on the lower floor which can be used to store outdoor toys, games and small private aeroplanes!
This particular playhouse was constructed in sections in order to fit through a small doorway into the clients garden. The playhouse was assembled and painted in Norfolk, dismantled, transported and re-assembled to the sound of flocks of screeching parakeets flying overhead near Eltham Palace in South London. The dimensions of Woodsman's Cottage are 4.5m (length) x 2.55m (width) x 3.9m (height). Prices from £21,739.13 excluding VAT and delivery.
