National Trust Croft Castle Playground
The children's playground at the National Trust's Croft Castle incorporates an exciting castle centre piece. The castle is perfect for medium to large playground installations, and when installed within the grounds of an historic attraction, the play equipment can be tailored to suit the style, colour and brick work of the original castle although this example was painted a flat grey..
This particular castle designed and installed for the National Trust is ideal for children from three years upwards and can safely accommodate up to 50 children at any one time. The castle is very adaptable and can accommodate a variety of play accessories including, but not limited to slides, climbing nets, sliding poles, ladders, walkways, tower entrances and wriggle holes.
The play area was finished with rubber safety mats to allow grass to grow through and was accompanied by hand-painted springies, a see-saw, group swing and timber frame swings.
