The Baby Chalet
Our largest and most complex children's playhouse to date, the Baby Chalet was designed, constructed, dismantled, transported to Switzerland and re-assembled in a staggering 6 weeks (2400 man hours) in temperatures of down to -17°C and , at times, blizzard conditions.
The chalet features underfloor heating a mezzanine floor - sizeable beds, a feature stone fireplace and external stack and chimney, and a fully fitted kitchen.
Of a traditional timber construction, the pine has been sand blasted and distressed throughout to give an appearance of age. The shell is designed to withstand huge snow and ice loadings on the shallow cantilevered roofs.
