Misty, cold and frosty outside it might be, but here at Flights of Fantasy, the first green shoots of Spring are emerging and we’ve already begun the countdown to our biggest event of 2008 – the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. And, although May still seems a long way off, we’ve all sorts of plans underway to ensure our 2008 stand, complete with its Tudor house and moated fortress, creates even more of a stir than last year, when we walked away chuffed to bits with the award for Excellence in Presentation – the only time a Chelsea newcomer has snaffled the trophy!
This year, we’d love nothing more for you to join us on press day at RHS Chelsea, when we’ll be showcasing our enchanting children’s playhouses, a beautiful, Tudor inspired garden designed by Jenny Rogers and wild roses grown especially for Flights of Fantasy by the renowned nurseryman Robert Mattock.
But hurry, because to attend press day, you need to register your feature or commission now and the clock is ticking – the latest you’ll be able to register is 7th March. Simply go to www.rhs.org.uk/press
You’ll find Flights of Fantasy in Ranelagh Gardens – stand no RS18. We’ll be delighted to see you at any time throughout the day, but join us for around 10.00am and we’ll introduce you to some very special guests – children from the Jellybean Kids’ Appeal – and the winners of a special competition to name our 2008 Chelsea exhibition stand.
We’ll be sending out press kits with further information very soon, but in the meantime, if you’re planning to put Chelsea in your diary, please ensure you register today.
We look forward to seeing you there!
