Trim Trails, Fitness Trails, and Exercise Equipment

Outdoor Exercise Equipment To Engage The Family

Offering the ability to exercise and keep fit outdoors, a trim trail is an excellent way to promote health and fitness in a community whilst getting people out of the house. When coupled with one of our outdoor play areas, they are also an excellent way of offering engaging activities for adults and older children in a play environment. Having a trim trail alongside a traditional play area encourages the whole family to visit a site and inclines everyone to stay longer as there is something for everyone.

Bespoke Design And Customisable Trim Trail Apparatus

Everything that we make is completely bespoke and our trim trails are no exception. You can have as many or few pieces of trim trail apparatus in your trim trail as you desire, giving you the option of fitting a trim trail into a tight space or spreading it out over a huge expanse. Typically we like to make rustic trim trails using natural timbers as they fit very subtly into natural environments, look attractive, and will stand up against the elements for many years.

Every piece of our trim trails is designed to target the lower body, upper body, or arms and shoulders as well as offering a cardio benefit. We incorporate activities that cover aerobics, balancing, jumping, running, and climbing. Typically we put a map at the entrance to the trim trail so that visitors can find their way around and will be aware of what each piece of trim trail apparatus targets. You can see an example of the apparatus key we use in the table, pictured.

Below are a few of the different pieces of trim trail equipment that can be incorporated into your trim trail design. This is not an exhaustive list, so if there is anything else that you can think of, we can add that into your trim trail and make it exactly as you want it to be.

Our Past Trim Trails

Whilst any trim trail you desire is possible, here are some of the trim trails that we have made in the past to give you some inspiration, listed alongside the adventure play area that they accompany. You don’t need a play area as our trim trails are stand alone, but when you do have a play area, a trim trail is a great way to include all the family.

Farnham Park Trim Trail

Farnham Park Trim Trail is an expansive trim trail with nineteen pieces of exercise equipment that accompanies Farnham Park Adventure Play Area. The play area is pictured below and when you combine the trim trail and the play area, you have a huge amount of exercise and play potential that can keep whole families occupied for hours.

The Design Process

Tell Us About Your Project

Number 1

Contact us for an initial discussion about your ideas and requirements. We’ll talk you through some different options and if you like the sound of what we have to offer, we will arrange a good time to visit to discuss things further. We can also give you a cost estimate and answer any initial questions you might have.

Site Survey

Number 2

Our surveyor will visit your site to discuss the project in more depth and take details such as dimensions, positioning, and requirements, as well as climatic and landscaping constraints – we have installed play areas in very diverse locations, but we need to know what we are in for!

Number 3

A full, written proposal including design specifications, plans, costs, and time-frames will be prepared. If required, we can provide multiple costed options to find the best solution for your needs. We work hard to find a solution that works for your budget and specification.

How To Contact Us: Designing Your Trim Trail

Use this page as inspiration for your own trim trail, but please don’t be afraid to push the boundaries and add in new features. Everything we make is bespoke, so we can accommodate any requests. You can get in contact with us via phone or email to discuss a potential project – We are happy to walk you through the design process and can either work with ideas that you might have or come up with something completely new. We look forward to hearing from you.

How To Order
