Priory Park Outdoor Play

Out door play structure in Worcestershire, Enlgand. Reintroducing our bird hide structure which is a spherical structure that kids can play and hide in, we created this large outdoor play area at Priory Park. We wanted to create a play ground with trim trails led children around key elements of the play that we implemented, such as a large rope bridge and swing. The majority of the play area is made from sweet chestnut which has been stripped by hand in our Quercast sawmill.

Exerts from Birmgingham Mail Online:

-“Parents are raving about Priory Park on Tripadvisor, saying they like the fact that the playground is made from sustainable wood rather than plastic”

-“”In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit…. it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort” so said JRR Tolken in the opening lines of The Hobbit. There’s a newly-refurbished park in Worcestershire that looks like it something straight from Middle Earth.”

-“Priory Park in Malvern has been transformed as part of a half-a-million pound project – offering a whole load of adventure and calculated risk taking that would make Bilbo Baggins proud. What’s more, it’s completely free to visit.”

-“Malvern Hills District Council worked with specialist play equipment company, Flights of Fantasy, on the state-of-the-art design which is unique and eco-friendly, using sustainable timber, planting and materials to give a natural and rustic feel.”
