The Gin Trap Inn is a pub nestled in the Norfolk village of Ringstead just 10 miles away from our workshop in Dersingham. As part of a wider redevelopment plan for their outdoor space, we were asked to come up with a design that incorporated their beautiful old Sycamore tree into the future play area.
The rustic adventure play area & treehouse complements the outside seating area wonderfully. It features a three-storey treehouse tower with boardwalk, S-bend slide and climbing ropes. Interconnecting play in the form of stilt posts, hop logs and balance beams link another tower within the play area.

We are so happy to see a vision of ours and our customers come together to be enjoyed by families for years to come. If you are around the North Norfolk coast, go and see for yourself; The Gin Trap Inn’s excellent selection of Gin (over 100 different kinds!) their really interesting food (Like Kimchi slaw, YUM!) and of course the great outdoor adventure playground now installed!

We will definitely be back as our children can’t seem to get enough of your play area (an actual tree house!)

The treehouse playground was (rather cruelly) used as leverage for the child to eat his lunch. And boy, what a playground it is. Previously I’ve dreaded the outside area here as it was tired and a bit grotty – a few sad plastic toys in some sand/kitty litter… The new order has installed the most fabulous tree house play area, in fact the whole of the outside area, whether you own/like children or nay is bloody marvellous. We didn’t get too close to the inside outside area at the top of the beer garden but it looked so beautiful.
We will be back. Again and again and again will we be back.
RCB90 – Norfolk’s most fabulous treehouse – 11th September 2020.
Lots of different places to sit, a great play area for the kids and the new accommodation looks lovely (a quick peak!)
Sarah G – Lovely food lovely refurb – 01st September 2020.
The back ‘garden’ is so much more. The open and covered seating outdoors is really well designed and executed. Comfortable, spacious, solid. And there’s a brilliant kid’s play area to keep them busy!
587emmyt – FUN & YUM – 28th August 2020.
