When Little Kings Holiday Park asked us to make a beach themed indoor play area in a limited space, it got out creative juices flowing. How could we incorporate a beach theme in a play area?
We came up with a design that included a lighthouse, two beach huts, several beach themed props, and a representation of the iconic VW Camper. As the holiday park is popular with campers, this last little touch seemed quite fitting. Below you can see a render of the digital plan.
As with all our creations, we constructed and painted everything at our workshop in Norfolk, working carefully to ensure that the play area would fit perfectly into the available space. We always love this point in a project because you really get to see how an idea is transformed from mere concept to reality.
In the finished creation we made a few twerks from the initial plans, but we’re delighted with the outcome. Little Kings Adventure Park now have a beach themed indoor play area complete with a VW Camper and the feedback from parents and children has been highly positive.
